It’s time to tatakae. If you’ve seen the influx of anime characters joining the struggle on the Fortnite Island, and thought it’d be cool to play as a morally bankrupt genocider, then we have good news! Just in time for Attack on Titan: The Final Season, Part 3, Part 1, the angriest anime character ever is joining the battle. I can’t believe I actually typed those words. It feels … disgusting.
In the lead-up to this announcement, the inclusion of Eren was leaked by Shiina and HYPEX. The original post was published on March 1, and it only took Epic Games a week (and some change) to confirm it. It’s still unknown to what degree Eren will be included in the upcoming season, subtitled ‘MEGA.’ It could be that he’s the secret skin and therefore won’t immediately be unlockable.
Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 is now available, in any case.
Attack on Titan is a manga/anime set in a world ravaged by giant, humanoid beings known as Titans. It began in 2013, and is currently airing its fourth (and final) season that has been divided into multiple parts. It’s not currently clear to what extent the collaboration between Fortnite and Attack on Titan will be. While it’d certainly make sense to set some Titans loose on the Fortnite Island, it could very well just be a character collaboration.
