Dwelly of the Valley Location – Chained Echoes

Dwelly of the Valley is a particularly hard Unique Monster to find if you do not know where to look. In fact, the tiny island which houses this Monster does not appear on the map when searching for it. Therefore, you are required to use your Sky Armor to get to this spot. This guide will show you exactly where to go to find the Dwelly of the Valley atop a small platform. Keep in mind that you need to be well prepared for taking on the Dwelly. There is a reason Matthias Linda hid it on this particular spot of the Map in Chained Echoes where you require the Sky Armor to take on this beast.

Dwelly of the Valley Location

This Unique Monster can be found on the south-west side of the Kortara Mountain Range. You should know this place well as this Region is where you can trade with Norgant to get special items. Use the Fast-Travel Transport Crystals to get into the Mountain Range Region. From here you can use the Sky Armor to quickly traverse across the Map, flying over all of the islands. Your goal is to get to the exact spot as seen directly on the screenshot below. You will want to go to the exact location of the Player Icon on the Map.

Once you get to this island, you must land on it using the Sky Armor for the Dwelly to appear. Otherwise the fight will not begin. You need to stay in the Sky Armor when fighting this Unique Monster otherwise you will likely not be able to defeat the Dwelly. The Sky Armor is crucial to winning this fight and of course, finding the small floating island to begin with.

How to Get the Sky Armor

The Sky Armor is only obtained in Act 2 of Chained Echoes. So keep that in mind before attempting to take this Unique Monster on early in the game as this will not be possible. Act 2 starts at Part 23: The Aurora Main Questline. Here you will obtain your first Sky Armor, giving you the ability to fast-travel through the Regions. You can use this to get to hard to find spots such as the Dwelly of the Valley location in the Mountain Range.
