How to get Leaf in Diablo 2 Resurrected
To make Leaf in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you will need the following items:
- Tir Rune.
- Ral Rune.
- A Nonmagic Staff with two empty sockets.
You can acquire the Tir Rune and Ral Rune from The Countess in Act I if you want to farm them easily. The two-socket staff can be purchased from Akara in Act I, as well. With all three items handy, place the Tir Rune and then the Ral Rune into the staff. That will create the Leaf Rune Word.
What does Leaf do in Diablo 2 Resurrected
Leaf add the following attributes to a staff:
- 5 to 30 Fire Damage
- +3 to Fire Skills
- +3 to Fire Bolt
- +3 to Inferno
- +3 to Warmth
- +2 Mana after each kill
- +(2 per character level)+2-198 Defense
- Cold Resist +33%
The +3 to Fire Skills attribute makes this a useful staff for the Sorceress, Druid, and Assassin classes. Many new players may overlook this fact and believe this is purely a Sorceress staff, but it has more uses than that!
How to find a good staff for Leaf in Diablo 2 Resurrected
In general, you don’t need to worry too much about the base item you choose for low-level Rune Words like Leaf. However, if you want to optimize your build a little bit, you should try finding a staff that complements your build already. That means, if you run a Fireball Sorceress, try to find a two-socket staff from Akara that already has extra Fire Ball skill stats on it.
You can refresh Akara’s inventory quite easily by simply making a new game. It only takes a few seconds to do so, so you should be able to find a decent staff to make a Leaf with in a few minutes. Overall, though, don’t worry too much about finding the perfect staff. You won’t be using the Leaf staff for the entire game, but the stats on their own make it an excellent Rune Word no matter what.
