Destiny 2 Lightfall is here, Nightfall strikes are here and so are the thousands and thousands of enthusiastic players that are grinding their way to their favorite weapons. There are different weapons in the rotation pool so everyone wants to know what is the next weapon available, so they can farm it as soon as possible.

What is the Nightfall Weapon for March 7 – March 14 week in Destiny 2?

The weapon that is going to be on rotation in this week’s Nightfall is the Mindbender’s Ambition. If you are new to Destiny 2, you should know that successfully finishing a cooperative activity such as the Nightfall strike doesn’t guarantee that you will receive its rewards and this weapon. You would have to grind for it and the higher the difficulty you’re playing on the better the chances are of you getting it.

Furthermore, simply replaying and completing the Nightfall multiple times will increase your chances of getting the weapon reward as a drop so don’t get discouraged if you don’t get it on a couple of your first tries.

The Mindbender’s Ambition Overview

Mindbender’s Ambition is a Solar Legendary Shotgun that has an intrinsic perk called Aggressive Frame. This perk allows Mindbender’s Ambition to have high damage but also a high recoil. When you kill an enemy with a weapon, the perk increases its rate of fire.

If you are looking for some great recommendations for perks for this weapon you should look out for these:

• Surplus – Greatly increases reload speed, handling, and stability for every fully charged ability.
• Rifled Barrel – Substantially decreases handling speed but it increases your range. If you want to go for more range with this shotgun I advise you to pick up Accurized Rounds in addition to a Rifled Barrel.
• Vorpal Weapon – Increases damage vs bosses, vehicles, and Guardians with their Super ability active.
• Stunning Recovery – When you stun Champions, you get increased regen, a partially refilled magazine, and improved recovery for a short while.
• Assault Mag – Increases rate of fire and stability helping you in quick combat.

The Grandmaster Nightfalls

When a higher difficulty Nightfall, called Grandmaster Nightfall, unlocks on April 11 there will be a possibility of getting an Adept Mindbender’s Ambition. This version of the weapon allows for adept mods which are more powerful than regular mods. Adept mods will too be rewarded to those who complete the Grandmaster Nightfalls.
