This guide will explore the best resource packs currently available for Minecraft. Resource packs can drastically change how the game looks for the better. You should be able to use any of the resource packs on our list as they are all available for at least Minecraft 1.14.
Clarity
Our first resource pack is one of the cleanest looking ones on the list. This pack makes the original aspects of the game look better. Clarity resource pack comes in 32x resolution.
A Little Taste of Jerm
A Little Taste of Jerm is a resource pack that makes a lot of general changes to all of the Minecraft textures and also makes them blend together. To get this pack to work best, you will also need to make sure Optifine is installed. This pack features connected textures, custom sky, and custom colors.
Dokucraft
Dokucraft is another resource pack with connected textures. All the textures within this pack look very nice and blend well together. This is one of our favorites on the list and is definitely worth checking out.
Chroma Hills
This 128 resolution resource pack is definitely one of the most detailed packs we have seen to date. The pack will give your game a medieval feel to it. If you are looking for a detailed resource pack this is a good one to try out.
Mizuno’s 16 Craft
This resource pack uses the same resolution as Vanilla Minecraft but manages to make it look better. The blocks are overall different yet you can still tell what they are, making it a unique resource pack to try out.
Excalibur
Excalibur is a Minecraft resource pack that gives the game a medieval mixed with Vanilla Minecraft feel. The pack looks amazing, especially considering its 16x resolution.
Pulchra
Pulchra is probably our favorite realistic-looking Minecraft resource packs out there. You can get this resource pack from 128 up to 2048 resolution. If you want to give your game a realistic feel, this is the number one resource pack to try out.
PureBDcraft
Our last pack on the list is one of the most customizable resource packs out there. PureBDcraft is available for nearly every version of Minecraft out there with a resolution as low as 16 all the way up to 512.
