Here are the best attachments to use on the AK-74u:

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Barrel: 9.5″ Paratrooper
  • Stock: Sprint Pad
  • Magazine: 40 Round Speed Mag
  • Handle: Quickdraw Handle

Agency Suppressor reduces the muzzle climb, giving better recoil control and reducing the muzzle flash. The suppressor adds 5% vertical recoil control and hides you on the mini-map while firing. On the downside, it reduces the effective damage range and horizontal recoil control. The AK-74U has some high vertical recoil, so using this muzzle helps counter that and helps it feel like a rifle.

The 9.5″ Paratrooper improves range and ballistic speed. It increases the muzzle velocity and effective damage range both by 100%. In other words, it DOUBLES the velocity and range. The downside is that it puts a 20% reduction on aiming move speed, but it’s not that noticeable, especially with this weapon.

Sprint Pad is a stock for higher mobility and smooth sprinting to aiming. It boosts the Sprint Out Speed by 18%, allowing you to draw your weapon quickly after running around. Sprint Out Speed is important, and having a slight advantage over other players will help you win most close-range battles.

In terms of ammo, we’ll be rocking the 40 Round Speed Mags. This magazine provides many benefits, including a 30% increase to reload speed, and a 33% increase to ammo capacity, starting ammo, and magazine size. The one downside is it adds some slight horizontal recoil, but it’s nothing you won’t be able to control. If you aren’t digging this attachment, you can try the standard 40 Rd instead.

Lastly, the Quickdraw Handle increases the friction for a better grip on the weapon. It improves draw time, allowing you to take down your target quicker. It provides a 9% increase in Aiming Speed.

Utilizing these attachments, you can make this submachine gun work wonders in close and mid-range battles.
