Path of Exile: Arrogance Support Gem Explained

Have you ever felt confused about what a gem may do in Path of Exile? Look no further. We are going to deep dive into the Arrogance Gem.

Path of Exile has the depth of an ocean. Playing the game sometimes feels like you accidentally walked into a college course that’s in its tenth week of class, and you’re expected to know literally everything about the subject. But thankfully for everyone, there’s an amazing community full of content creators and people who have Path of Exile PhD’s that can make thesis and essays for everyone to look at. Today’s topic is the gem called Arrogance Support.

What Does Arrogance Support Do?

Arrogance Support is a support gem. It grants the supported skill’s increased aura effect and causes them to reserve life instead of mana. The trade-off here is going to be the expense of a very high reservation multiplier of 220-201%. You will get most use out of this gem on low life builds like Petrified Blood or Wintertide Brand that require a high energy shield.

The mana reservation of any skill, aspect, banner, stance and herald can be supported by this gem. So instead of using mana to cast your spell, you will drain your HP.

To acquire and upgrade this gem, you can go about it by upgrade paths and vendor recipes. The vendor recipes are going to be RNG based entirely. Like, for example, trading 9 Gift of the Gemlings card will net you a random gem. This isn’t the best way to do it, but hey, if you want to, go ahead.

In Act 3 Duelist, Marauder, Templar and Scion get the gem from a quest reward, so you can get that there if you want. After clearing Act 3 the vendor Siosa will start selling the gem in her shop so no need for any RNG grinding there. Once you’ve gotten the gem, it’s time to level it up to twenty

Hopefully, this information has helped you learn something new!

Obsessed with grinding, always playing some game you've never heard of. I am a huge MMORPG, Gacha and farming simulator fan. If I'm not grinding something in one of the many games I play (Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Epic Seven etc) I can be found working on my novel, reading, watching anime or hanging out with my three dogs.
