It should be noted that all vaults require vault keys to access. But, if you have a couple of vault keys burning a hole in your pocket, then let’s hit the ground running. Here’s where you can find all vaults in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2.

All Vault Locations in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2

Vault #1

This first vault can be located in Shattered Slabs. If you see a mythic boss in the area, you know you’re in the general vicinity. You might want to consider taking these foes out whilst looking for the vault. But, if that’s not your cup of tea, then you should find the vault in a tunnel located in a quarry-like area.

Vault #2

It’s time to head for northeastern Mega City! If you head for the large river area, you’ll see a staircase leading down. Take this staircase and you should notice a hidden alcove to the left, containing the vault!

Vault #3

You’ll find this vault in Brutal Bastion. Find the rectangular plaza with a large sphere sculpture. If you pass this sphere and head into the adjacent hallway, you can follow it and take a right when you see the vault.

Vault #4

This one might be a little trickier. It’s not located at a named location, but rather, it’s on the floating island in the center area of the map. Head into the house and then travel downward. You should see the vault in the basement of the house. It’s important to note here that this vault requires TWO vault keys.

How to Open Vaults in Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2

It won’t help to know the locations of the vaults if you don’t know how to open them. In order to open vaults in Fortnite, you’ll need vault keys. It would seem these keys can be picked up once you defeat a mythic boss. Defeating these bosses will also net you a fair amount of rewards, including a mythic gun.

But, once you’ve netted some vault keys, all you need to do is approach the vaults and press the key that you see on screen. In just a few seconds, you’ll have a hefty amount of treasure to sift through!
