It’s not hyperbolic to say that Minecraft would not exist as it does today without the help of its massive userbase. Thanks to its myriad players, Minecraft is a household name, which is why Mojang is more than happy to cut the users in on the process once in a while. That next instance will be at the upcoming Mob Vote during Minecraft Live. Here are all of the Minecraft Live 2022 Mobs.
All Minecraft Live 2022 Mobs: How to Vote, Start Time, and More
Every year, Mojang hosts the Minecraft Mob Vote, a public event where the developers reveal three potential ideas for new Minecraft Mob NPCs and let the player base decide which one they want to see added to the game.

The next Mob Vote will be held during Minecraft Live, which is set to air on October 15th, 2022, at Noon eastern time. The actual voting will begin exactly one day prior on October 14th, also at Noon eastern. You can vote on the Minecraft website, as well as through special servers on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition or through the Java Edition launcher. As for the live stream, you can watch it on the official page.
The Mobbiest Mob
So, what are our options this time around? The three Mobs set for this year’s Mob Vote are as follows:
- The Sniffer
- The Rascal
- The Tuff Golem
The Sniffer is a prehistoric bovine-like creature that you can revive by finding one of its eggs. These moss-covered critters have powerful senses of smell, and if you can enlist one into your service, you can have them track down all kinds of rare seeds and plants.
The Rascal is a silly little guy who lives in the various cave systems below the surface. While a bit startling to stumble onto, they’re perfectly friendly, and love a good game of hide and seek. If you can find one underground three times, they’ll reward you with rare items or gear.
The Tuff Golem is… well, exactly what it sounds like. A Golem made out of Tuff, an ornamental rock formed of condensed volcanic ash. While it isn’t known how strong it’d be compared to an Iron Golem, it’s definitely got a cool factor going for it.
Once again, voting opens on October 14th. Make sure you think carefully about the Mob you want, because once you vote, you’re locked into your decision.
