What is FIFA 22 Squad Battles?

First introduced in FIFA 18, Squad Battles is a single-player mode available in FIFA Ultimate Team in which players can face off against AI-controlled teams to rank up and earn rewards. 

While playing against AI-controlled opponents can feel slightly different than playing online, it presents the perfect opportunity to test out certain tactics that you might otherwise be more reserved to use.

In this unique FIFA 22 game mode, you’ll have 40 Squad Battles to complete each week, not including the two promotional teams that are made available each week. Essentially, the better you perform, and the more points you earn, the more your ‘Rank’ will improve in weekly competition. 

What are the FIFA 22 Squad Battles Rewards?

Depending on where you land within the Squad Battles’ Leaderboard at the end of each week, you could be granted some pretty unique rewards. Some of the rewards included in FIFA 22’s Squad Battles mode are;

When does FIFA 22 Squad Battles release?

FUT players can expect to take part in this highly-anticipated FIFA 22 Squad Battles game mode every Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. That means we can expect the next Squad Battle to drop this Sunday, February 13, 2022. However, it’s important to note that there are only six more Squad Battles expected to be released in this year’s FIFA 22, so make sure you get in on the action as soon as possible.
