How to unlock the AMP63 in Cold War and Warzone

The new AMP63 pistol is now officially available in Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone. According to the weapon tooltip, the AMP63 is a full-auto pistol with a fast fire rate, improved bullet velocity, and moderate recoil. It has reliable damage output at close range, making it an excellent secondary weapon choice for most loadouts. How this will shake up the meta is yet to be determined, but things should get interesting. Here’s how to unlock the AMP63 in Cold War and Warzone if you want to try this pistol out as soon as possible.

How to unlock the AMP63 in Warzone and Cold War

To unlock the AMP63, you can purchase the Gamma Ray bundle for 1,000 CP, or you’ll need to complete one of the following objectives in either Zombies or Multiplayer in Black Ops Cold War:

  • Zombies: Get 400 Critical Kills using Pistols.
  • Multiplayer: Using a pistol, eliminate five enemies in twenty different completed matches.

If you can choose between Zombies or Multiplayer, Zombies will most definitely be the quickest. You can hop in a solo game of Die Maschine and knock this challenge out in under thirty minutes. Critical Kills are headshot kills, so line up the zombies and then mow them down. Not everyone has access to zombies, though.

For Multiplayer, the requirement is simple enough, but it’s far more time-consuming compared to zombies. We recommend faceoff or a Nuketown match, as those are the quickest games. You will simply need to rack up five kills in twenty different matches, but the downside is you cannot back out. Note the keyword “completed” in the objective, which means you need to complete each game fully.

Overall, the weapon is incredibly fun to use, and the small clip should make it, so it doesn’t disrupt the Warzone meta too much, but we will have to wait and see.
