Resident Evil Village is littered with lots of powerful weapons perfect for mowing down the zombies. Some weapons are far superior to others, though, and perhaps the best in the game is the Magnum. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly where to find the Wolfsbane Magnum in Resident Evil Village, including the location of the item and some item stats so you can wrap your head around its power.

Resident Evil Village: Where to find the Wolfsbane Magnum

• Defeat Moreau.
• Use the Crank key on the door to Moreau’s Lab.
• Go to the last house in the area.
• Find Moreau’s hidden weapon inside the chest.

To get the Wolfsbane Magnum, you’ll need to continue through the story until defeating Moreau, the boss fight in the area of the drowned houses. After defeating him and going back up the elevator and through the Windmill with the save point, you should find yourself back in the area with the pigs. That’s where you’ll find the door to Moreau’s lab, which you can use the Crank key to access.

Use the key on the door, and take the path through. You’ll come across three houses, and the last one contains Moreau’s cache, which will contain the M1851 Wolfsbane Magnum, which you can loot for yourself. Crouch into the building through the back and head through the hole to get inside.

The M1851 Wolfsbane boasts some impressive stats:

• Ammo capacity: 5
• Rate of fire: 1.5

Overall, this is a beefy weapon, and you can even add a Long Barrel attachment to it and increase the ammo capacity. If you wanted, you could also drop 100,000 Lei to purchase it from the duke.
