Nearly a month after Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2’s release, Treyarch announces they are shaking things up a bit with a new update. The second season of the latest Call of Duty title and popular Warzone battle royale mode, launched on February 25, included lots of new content for players to explore. PlayStation 4 CoD players can now preload update 1.14, which will include the mid-season update. We anticipate the preload coming to more platforms soon. According to reports, the update is ~7GB in size.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season 2 Reloaded Release Time
According to a leak, the tentative Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2 Reloaded release date is Tuesday, March 30. Popular content creator WhosImmortal reveals the update is installable on March 29 at 9 PM PST.
There’s a good chance the mid-season update, Season 2 Reloaded, rolls out alongside the 1.14 patch, though we have no official confirmation of that as of yet.
The update includes two new maps (Golova and Mansion), including a revised existing map (Miami). There are also two new weapons to look forward to in the future, but we don’t have too many details on them at this time. Some players speculate the weapons available in an upcoming patch, including the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow and the ZRG 20MM Sniper Rifle.
