Fortnite Love and War is part of the new v11.50 Fortnite Patch released on February 5th, 2020. This game introduces a new limited time game mode called Search and Destroy, along with a bunch of new challenges. We’ll be focusing on the challenges here in this article.

Complete 5 Love Challenges
To complete this challenge, simply complete any of the challenges listed below with the word “Love” in front of them.
Complete 5 War Challenges
To complete this challenge, simply complete any of the challenges listed below with the word “War” in front of them.
Complete 5 Love and 5 War Challenges
This challenge will be auto completed whenever you complete 5 Love and War challenges.
War: Play 5 Search and Destroy Matches
This is the easiest challenge out of the new ones, and you just need to simply jump into 5 different search & destroy matches and play through them. The new Fortnite Search and Destroy limited time mode is a classic team-based game of attack and defend.
War: Plant or Defuse A Bomb in Search and Destroy Matches
This is a stage challenge where you first have to plant or defuse two bombs, then ten, then twenty-five. It’s easy to complete this challenge if you get placed in a match where the opposing team only have a couple players.
Love: Place Top 15 in Duos or Squads With a Friend (5)
This challenge is pretty self explanatory, though it’s probably easier to complete in squads because there are less teams overall. In squads there’s only about 25 teams whereas in duos there are about 50.
Love: Heal a Teammate with a Bandage Bazooka
The best way to do this is hop into a team rumble match so you can have some time to search and find a bandage bazooka. The supply drops also sometimes contain bandage bazookas.
War: Eliminate Opponents in Search and Destroy Matches
This is another challenge that’s fairly easy to complete. Focus on saving up some coin and picking up a good weapon to easily eliminate enemies. It won’t be too difficult overall since you’ll likely be playing a bunch of these. Also, make sure you prioritize getting a shield above any other item since it’s cheap and effective.
