Sons of the Forest is the ruthlessly difficult sequel to The Forest, a survival horror game that’s been pitting players against mutants, cannibals, and psychotic scientists since 2014. Somehow, Sons of the Forest has managed to add even more cannibals, mayhem, and mutants to the game than its predecessor; if you loved fighting to thrive in The Forest, then you’ll love struggling to survive in Sons of the Forest.
Similar to The Forest, Sons of the Forest allows players to complete in-game achievements. One of the toughest achievements to get in the game is the “Every Move You Make” achievement, which only a handful of players have actually managed to unlock so far. Keep reading if you want to find out how to easily unlock the “Every Move You Make” achievement in Sons of the Forest!

How to Unlock the “Every Move You Make” Achievement in Sons of the Forest
The “Every Move You Make” achievement in Sons of the Forest is only relevant if you’ve already gotten Virginia, the six-limbed mutant woman, as a companion. This achievement can’t be unlocked without her, so be sure to gain her as a companion first if you haven’t already.
The “Every Move You Make” achievement in Sons of the Forest is unlocked by putting a GPS locator on Virginia. You’ll only need one GPS locator to make this work, which can be obtained by collecting any of the scattered locators around the map that were left by your team. You’ll know where to look for them by following the purple-colored waypoints on your mini-map.
Once you’ve gotten at least one GPS locator and gained Virginia as a loyal companion, all you’ll need to do is approach Virginia and access her inventory. From there, all you’ll need to do is simply place the GPS locator in her inventory. That’s it! After the GPS locator is in Virginia’s possession, you should be the proud new owner of the “Every Move You Make” achievement in Sons of the Forest!
How to Gain Virginia as a Companion
Of course, you can’t get the “Every Move You Make” achievement in Sons of the Forest without Virginia. If you’re really trying to get this achievement in the game but just aren’t sure how to gain Virginia’s trust, then you’re in luck! Here’s how to gain Virginia’s trust and make her your loyal companion in Sons of the Forest:
- First, let Virginia find you. She’ll occasionally approach you while you’re out exploring or even building shelters, so you shouldn’t have to wait too long for her to find you.
- Once Virginia is within eyesight, put away all of your weapons by pressing “G”.
- Do not attempt to approach her or make any sudden movements, as she startles easily. You can continue what you were doing, just make sure you’re being cautious.
- Repeat this process every time Virginia approaches you. Eventually, she will stop viewing you as a threat and offer you gifts.
- Once Virginia begins to offer you gifts, you’ll know she wants to befriend you. You can then approach her slowly and begin to interact with her.
- Once you’re able to interact with Virginia, you’ll have successfully gained her as a companion. Congratulations!
- You won’t be able to give her specific commands to carry out as you can with Kelvin, but she can lead you to loot-filled caves and camps for you to plunder, provide you with free resources (including food!), and can even hold a shotgun and a pistol at the same time!
Virginia may act differently than Kelvin as a companion, but she’s no less useful or important! She may occasionally wander off to do her own thing, but as long as you’ve got the GPS locator on her, she’ll never be too far away.
