Potion Craft: How to Craft a Potion for Smaller and More Nimble

Alchemical capitalism knows no morals.

If you’re wondering how to craft a potion to make someone smaller and more nimble in Potion Craft, then chances are you’ve had a thief come into your store and ask for that exact thing. Don’t turn them away, though. Not only is there a potion that fits that “smaller and nimble” category — but there are actually two.

I’m going to explain how to craft both potions for smaller and more nimble requests. The first potion is better for beginners at the start of their playthrough, so that’ll be the quickest and easiest recipe. If you’re looking to earn a little more coin for your trouble, though, then the second potion is what you want to focus on.

How to Craft a Potion for Smaller and More Nimble in Potion Craft

Dexterity

The first potion that fits the “smaller and more nimble” request is a potion of Dexterity. You’ll discover this one fairly early on in your playthrough — it’s just East of the starting position of the water base, to the top right of the Frost potion.

To craft a Dexterity potion, filter your ingredients by “water” on the water base. Waterbloom is the most reliable way to get your potion over to that side of the map, but any ingredient that pulls you right will do the trick.

Once you’re far enough right that you’ve gone past the Frost potion, it’s time to filter by “magic” to start moving upwards and right. Once again, any ingredient that brings you that way will work. However, the exact combination of ingredients I used is:

  • 3x Waterbloom — fully crushed.
  • 1x Mageberry — Very slightly crushed.
  • Water.

I used up my Waterblooms, then added Mageberry until it was enough to get over the right-hand side of the Dexterity marker on the map. Once it lined up horizontally with the potion I was making, I started slightly adding water and adjusting until I lined up for a tier-three potion.

Shrinking

When you’re asked to craft a potion that will make someone smaller and more nimble, Dexterity isn’t your only option. If you’re a bit further into the game and want to make some extra cash, you can make a potion of Shrinking.

Potions of Shrinking are worth far more than potions of Dexterity. However, it’s extremely difficult and expensive to make a Shrinking potion on the water map. As such, I wouldn’t recommend crafting one until you unlock the oil base.

On the oil base map, the potion of Shrinking can be found out East — a decent bit past and down from the Fire Protection potion.

Once again, you’re going to be filtering by “water” to get your initial potion over that side of the map. Once you go past the Fire Protection node, switch to the “life” filter and start going to the bottom right. You’ll uncover the Shrinking potion node pretty easily after that.

The exact combination of ingredients I used to create a tier-three Shrinking potion is:

  • 9x Waterbloom Fully crushed.
  • 1x Lifeleaf Fully crushed.
  • 1x Goodberry Crushed just enough to line up with the right-hand side of the Shrinking potion.
  • Water.
  • 1x Bloodthorn Not crushed, just used to finish lining up for a tier-three.

When you’re asked to craft a potion to make someone smaller and more nimble, either one of these will work. You’ll earn more for the Shrinking potion, but it’ll take you a fair bit longer to make it.
