There have been major betrayals in the world of wrestling, or as Mr. McMahon would like to call it, sports entertaining. Matt Hardy on Jeff Hardy, Seth Rollings on The Shield, Marcus Junius Brutus on Julius Caesar, you get it. Moments that make us sad, mad, surprised, and even frustrated. Be that as it may, it is necessary to keep wrestling storylines interesting. Thankfully, or maybe not depending on your point of view, we will get to do this in the digital version of WWE. With that being said, here is how to betray in WWE Universe Mode in WWE 2K23.
How To Betray In WWE Universe Mode
As said above, we have experienced, and sometimes even been traumatized by, several betrayals during WWE history. It is a story trope that will break up tag teams in order to either push one or both wrestlers, oftentimes giving the former allies a stellar match in a PPV. However, I have never been the mastermind behind these heartbreaking moments, until now. Whether you will like to spice up your WWE experience, or you will like to split a tag team you are very fond of, follow the steps below to learn how to betray in WWE Universe Mode.
- Select Rivalries and create a new one in a new Rivalry Slot.
- Select the Rivalry type as a One on One, pick the two wrestlers, and then set the Intensity to Low.
- Later, in the Action Categories tab in the Cutscene Selector, click on Betrayal. Then you will choose between a Low Blow Betrayal or a Post-Match Betrayal.
