How to do Springboard Dives in WWE 2K22

Here's everything you need to know about how to do Springboard Dives and Running Springboard Dives in WWE 2K22.

WWE 2K22 is now out, and players can finally experience how the team at Visual Concepts has made the game “hit different.” This was done by completely overhauling the control scheme and designing a new gameplay engine from the ground up. As a result, the game feels smoother than ever when transitioning from move to move.

A side effect of these changes is that this game plays like no other WWE 2K game. Returning players and newcomers will have to get used to the new control scheme and combo system. In this guide, we’ll show you how to do Springboard Dives in WWE 2K22.

How to do Springboard Dives in WWE 2K22

Springboard dives are aerial moves that can be performed by standing near the turnbuckle (corner) inside the ring, the ropes inside the ring, or standing on the ring apron. To perform a springboard dive in WWE 2K22, hold L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) and press the Square button (PlayStation) or X button (Xbox) either standing near a turnbuckle, the ropes, or standing on the apron. Make sure you don’t let go of L1 (PlayStation) or LB (Xbox) until the dive animation starts. These dives can be performed to standing opponents or opponents laying face down or face up (The game refers to this position as supine).

How to do Running Springboard Dives in WWE 2K22

Running Springboards Dives can be performed on opponents standing or laying outside the ring. The game doesn’t tell you the correct way to do them, but here’s how. While running towards the side of the ring your opponent is on, press Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) near the ropes while holding the run button L2 (PlayStation) or LT (Xbox).

If done correctly, you perform a Running Springboard Dive. The game fails to mention this as when you look at Running Springboards in a character’s moveset, it tells you the wrong button inputs.
