Will Your Kill to Death Ratio and Win Record Transfer to Warzone 2? Answered

Can you take it with you?

With the explosive release of the highly anticipated next step for Call of Duty: Warzone, Warzone 2.0 is on the horizon! Releasing on November 16th, this is by far one of the biggest releases of the year, especially for fans of Battle Royale games.

Warzone 2.0 is touted as having some of the best and freshest gameplay mechanics on the BR market and will even feature third-person modes for players not too keen on Call of Duty’s first-person-centric gameplay.

But if you’re a gamer who’s played a lot of Warzone already, you may be wondering if some of your important progressions like KD or wins are going to come with you over to the new game. Well, we can explain if your kill-to-death ratio and wind record will transfer to Warzone 2.0.

Will Your Kill to Death Ratio and Win Record Transfer to Warzone 2? Answered

When it comes to Warzone 2.0, Infinity Ward and Activision have been incredibly transparent, for better or worse, about the fact that Warzone 2.0 will in fact be a completely clean slate for players to jump off from. By this kind of statement, you may understand where I’m going with this one.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to take your KD or win record with you over to Warzone 2.0, along with any other stats. To add further insult to injury, players won’t even be able to bring over their Blueprints or Operators and/or skins for them to Warzone 2.0.

It also seems that Activision is leaving their mobile app behind for now, as Warzone 2.0 nor the already released Modern Warfare 2 have been added to it. While games like Cold War or Vanguard show up as they should on the app and have a dedicated tab for each, Modern Warfare 2 doesn’t have a dedicated tab and its name in player activity is just random code.

A silver lining here though is that players can expect to see their COD Points come over with them as these are universally used between every Call of Duty title. So, while you may not be able to bring it all with you, at least the currency you spent money on can still be put to good use.

But that’s everything you know about whether or not your KD and win record will transfer over to Warzone 2.0. Be sure to check out some of our other great Warzone pieces too, such as Call of Duty Warzone Mobile: How it Works, Release Date, Cross-Progression, Maps, and Everything to Know.
