The Nintendo Direct finally unraveled a Detective Pikachu game that will be released in October. The title of the game is “Detective Pikachu Returns”. With the popularity of the Detective Pikachu game, some fans were wondering if Ryan Reynolds was going to reprise his role. This is the only game where players have the opportunity to hear Pikachu’s voice since the electric mouse is typically only chanting his name. We have found out that Will Arnett is going to be voicing Pikachu. Sorry to disappoint Ryan Reynolds fans. You won’t be hearing Deadpool voice this fluffy creature. Will Arnett has voiced plenty of characters during his career such as Ghost Writer from Danny Phantom, Batman in The Lego Movie, and Vlad in Horton Hears a Who! Now, he’ll be lending his talents in the popular universe of Pokemon as Pikachu, Ash’s faithful sidekick, and companion.

When is Detective Pikachu 2 Releasing?

If you’re excited to play the new Detective Pikachu Returns video game you’re not going to have to wait much longer for the release. The game is said to be released on October 6 and fans who follow the franchise were shocked since not much about the game has been spoken about. The last update the game received was in 2019 when The Pokemon Company spoke about it. Fans of the game will be able to play Detective Pikachu Returns on their Switch on October 6.
