Thunder Gleeok Location in Tears of the Kingdom

The Thunder Gleeok is one out of four Gleeoks you can kill while playing Tears of the Kingdom. This is a three-headed dragon that has different powers. We’re going to be focusing on the Thunder Gleeok and where it’s located. This is considered a boss challenge due to how difficult they can be in battle. Finding the Thunder Gleeok is easy enough, however fighting them, provides new challenges.

Before you even think about going head-to-head with this monster you’re going to want to stock up on wind-attribute weapons. After you have stocked up on healing items, useful weapons, and potions suitable for battle you’re going to want to head northwest of Martha’s Landing. It has also been confirmed that the Thunder Gleeok has been sighted at the Coliseum Ruins next to Aquame Lake, as well as, Akkala Citadel Ruins.

How to Defeat Thunder Gleeok in Tears of the Kingdom

With every Gleeok you come across you’re going to want to find them and then take them on as you find a way to glide or fly through the skies. These dragons are flying and you can’t approach them on the ground like normal monsters. They’ll fall from the sky once they reach about 25% of their health. You need to use elemental arrows against these dragons.

Shoot a few arrows and try to aim for their heads in order to stun them. Once you’ve fought it enough times it will land on the ground. This is when you need to make full-on contact attacks with a strong weapon. The weapon you choose is up to you just make sure it’s strong enough to deal the finishing blows to the dragon.
