Fortnite‘s latest update adds the deadliest type of wildlife yet: dinosaurs! That’s right, Raptors now join the Wolves, Boars, Chickens, and Frogs on the Fortnite island. Watch out, though, because these dinos hurt the most by far. The newborn Raptors aren’t the meanest looking creature, but they like to roam in packs and have no problem taking out anything in their path. Here’s where to find Raptor in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
Where to Find Raptors in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6
There are many Raptor spawn locations around the island. The easiest spot to find them, though, is probably at the farm north of Colossal Crops. We’re talking about the one between Colossal Crops and Steamy Stacks, shown on the map below.
Much like the pigpen and boars at Colossal Crops, the cabbage farm is flush with Raptors roaming around, ready to take out whatever challenges them. I made the mistake of roaming in here without a Hunter’s Cloak, and I deeply regretted it.
The nice thing about Raptors is, much like the other wildlife, you can tame them if you have the right tools. What you’ll need is a basic Hunter’s Cloak. Eliminate a smaller animal first, like a chicken or boar, and use their materials to craft one.
Equip your Hunter’s Cloak, and then walk up to a Raptor with no fear of them attacking you. At that point, you can simply use your interact key to tame one. With this deadly dino by your side, what could go wrong?
