With the increased difficulty of Ashika Island for Season 2 DMZ Mode, players will have a harder time looting the Caches than what was the previous experience in Al Mazrah. Now a lot of locations in which players will find Caches that require Keys to unlock will be heavily guarded depending on how to enter the location. One of these is the Floatsam Cargo Cache in Ashika Island. If you have obtained the Floatsam Cache Key, this guide will show you the Cache the Key will unlock. Whilst the loot inside is not particularly impressive, it can hold smaller items such as Cash, Ammo and Self Revives to help you in the deployment. Therefore, this is the location of the Floatsam Cargo Cache in Ashika Island.
Floatsam Cargo Cache Location
The Floatsam Cargo Cache is located on the west side of Ashika Island, specifically underneath the bridge between Town Center and Beach Club. You want the small container located on the right side of the bridge, emerged in water. The Cache can be found at the bottom of this container, where so long as you have obtained the Floatsam Cargo Cache Key, the container can be unlocked. Refer to the screenshot below of where you will find the Cache (player cursor).
The Floatsam Cargo Cache may be a tough container to unlock due to its location in Ashika Island. As this is located just before one of the entries into the Underground Waterways, players will need to get in and out undetected. The Waterways is filled with enemy AI who are at the lowest level, Elite Guards. You do not want to get any of their attention as you are diving into the river. Because of this, players should try for the Cache from the bridge’s location, rather than using the Waterways itself. Coming off the bridge, you can use the container itself as cover from any Guards seeing you.
