Where to Find Farid Rueda’s Bear and Lion Murals in Forza Horizon 5

The lengths to which some of the world’s foremost graffiti artists will go to place their art on a wall are, in a word, dazzling. I can’t even begin to imagine the planning that must go into finding a good wall, gathering all the paint and equipment, and putting it all together without getting in trouble. For that effort, and for their cultural significance, graffiti deserves to be admired at length, preferable in person. Here’s where to find Farid Rueda’s bear and lion murals in Forza Horizon 5.

Farid Rueda is a real-life street artist based out of Mexico, whose pieces are known for covering entire sides of buildings in vibrant colors and fascinating animal imagery. According to Rueda, these pieces represent his feelings of pride as a Mexican citizen, as well as his take on the general cultural climate. In order to properly celebrate Mexican culture, the developers of Forza Horizon 5 slipped several of his murals into the game’s overworld with Rueda’s blessing. To complete certain Accolade challenges, you’ll need to snap pictures of these murals, though you should honestly go see them anyway, because they’re fantastic.

To find the Bear and Lion murals in Forza Horizon 5

  1. Go to the town of Playa Azul
  2. Look for the orange and white building near the circuit race to find the Bear mural
  3. Look for the green and blue house on the eastern road of the city near the circuit race to find the Lion mural

Both of Rueda’s murals can be found in the city of Playa Azul, located on the southeastern side of the world map off the coast of the Riviera Maya. It’s home to The Goliath race as part of the Horizon Festival Mexico in case you need an obvious landmark.

When you get to the city, head to the eastern road, closest to the coast and nearest to the entry point for The Goliath. Near the entry point, you should see a large, multi-story building colored in orange and white. Get a closer look and search its ground-level sides, and you should stumble across the Bear mural.

Next, on that same road as the entry point, there’s a small residential area. Look for the house colored green and blue, and you’ll find the Lion mural on its roadside wall. In all likelihood, you’ll probably spot the Lion before you even notice the coloration of the house.

Quick heads-up: to complete the particular photo challenges associated with the murals, you’ll need to be driving a certain car, so check the challenges menu before you drag yourself all the way out there just to make sure you’re behind the right set of wheels. If you’ve got the right car, just snap a photo of the mural with the car in the shot, and you’ll clear the challenge, earning yourself some Season Points.
