Where to Find All Guild Locations in Octopath Traveler 2

It's like a less-horrible DMV.

In olden times, before you could look up how to fix a toilet on YouTube, guilds served as hubs for many people of the same passion and vocation, a place for networking and learning relevant skills. They’re a common staple of fantasy games, and in Octopath Traveler 2, they’re vital locations for maximizing the potential of your eight party members. Here’s where to find all the Guild locations in Octopath Traveler 2.

Where to Find All Guild Locations in Octopath Traveler 2

In Octopath Traveler 2, there is a Guild representing each of the eight character jobs (plus a couple of extra ones for secret jobs). By visiting the Guilds and talking with the people there, you can receive licenses for each of the jobs, allowing you to equip those jobs to your party members as a secondary class. Synergizing jobs is all but required to progress in this game, so you’ll want to seek out the Guilds at your earliest opportunity.

In order to receive a License for a Guild, you need to complete Guild quests marked on your world map. For every Guild quest you complete and report, you’ll receive a License for that Guild’s job. Keep in mind these are one-per-person; you can unequip it from one party member and give it to someone else, but if you want multiple party members to have the same job, you’ll need to get more Licenses.

The Scholar Guild

The Scholar Guild can be found in the Winterlands, in the Western Winterbloom Snows. If you start from Cape Cold and head through the Southern and Eastern Cape Cold Snows, in that order, you’ll reach the Western Winterbloom Snows. Head northward in this area and cross a bridge to find the large cabin housing the Guild.

The Cleric Guild

The Cleric Guild is located in Borderfall, a route in the Crestlands. From Flamechurch, head east through the Eastern Flamechurch Pass to reach Borderfall, where you’ll find the church of the Cleric Guild to the northwest.

The Warrior Guild

The Warrior Guild is found in Sai in Hinoeuma. The town is found northeast of the Kingdom of Ku, and the Guild is housed in a distinctive dojo in the town’s northern section.

The Dancer Guild

The Dancer Guild is located in Wellgrove in the Leaflands. It’s hard to miss; if you’re entering the town from the north, simply enter the distinctive building to your immediate right, at the town’s overall northeast.

The Thief Guild

The Thief Guild can be found in the city of Clockbank in the Brightlands. This is a tricky one; head to the town’s northern edge and look for a staircase near a house with some stacked crates next to it. Take this staircase through a tunnel, and you’ll end up at the Guild. Make sure it’s nighttime, as the Guildmaster doesn’t come out in the daytime.

The Merchant Guild

The Merchant Guild is in the Western Crackridge Wilds in the Wildlands, located north of Orerush. Start from Crackridge Harbor Anchorage and venture through the Souther Crackridge Wilds to reach the Western Wilds. Head to the western edge of this area to find the Merchant Guild’s campsite.

The Hunter Guild

The Hunter Guild is in the Western Tropu’hopu Traverse in Toto’haha. You can get there easily by going east from Beasting Bay Anchorage. You’ll find the Hunter’s Guild hidden amongst the trees on the western edge of the area, though the Guildmaster only appears during the daytime.

The Apothecary Guild

The Apothecary Guild is in Conning Creek in the Harborlands, southwest of Canalbrine. Find the town’s inn, then enter the building with flowers out front a short ways south of it.

Most of these locales can’t be reached safely until your party has an average level of around 30, but once you’re strong enough, make sure to pay them a visit as soon as you are able and start collecting those Licenses. You’ll be glad you had them later, trust me on that.
