When Octopath was released on Nintendo Switch in 2018 it was praised for their visuals, entertaining characters you could pick from, and the attention-to-detail with their unique city builds. Octopath Traveler 2 Features
Octopath Traveler is an award winning title where players embark on a quest, depending on how you choose at the beginning as your main, the story changes. You’re traveling through Orsterra where you’ll take on villains, solve quests, and eventually you’ll come across Galdera the main villain. In Octopath Traveler 2 there are eight characters you can choose from: Hikari, Agnea, Partitio, Osvald, Throné, Temenos, Ochette, and Castti. In this new story line you will have the opportunity to play different adventures that aren’t like the original. Each character has a new storyline you can follow and graphics have significantly improved. If you want to play the game now and you can’t wait you can play their demo on Nintendo Switch.
Switch Characters Octopath Traveler 2
The main question players are wanting to know is if you can switch between characters while playing. The answer is possibly no. In the previous game you needed to complete the story line all the way for whichever character you have chosen. After you are done with them you could switch to a new character to play their storyline. If you’ve played the first game you’ll know you can always change your party by using the tavern and speaking to the NPC, but switching your main character, will require you to be patient. We’re assuming the same gameplay will stay the same in Octopath Traveler 2. You can start playing Octopath Traveler 2 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Steam February 24th, 2023.
