Arriving in under a week, Overwatch 2 is poised to be a huge release for fans of the original, with further enhancements to gameplay, characters, and the background mechanics of things like graphics. While its predecessor was a game sold for a standard $59.99 price at launch, Overwatch 2 has made the big move to free-to-play, opening its gates to all players from around the globe.

And though you won’t have to spend a dollar to get your foot in the door with Overwatch 2, like any game these days, there is a DLC pack you can purchase that includes a bunch of goodies. For Overwatch 2, it’s the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack. Today, we’ll explain all you need to know about the Watchpoint Pack so that you can make the decision on whether or not it’s something you want to purchase ahead of the game’s October 4th release date.

Releasing at the same time as the standard version of the game, Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack will launch on October 4th, 2022. The pack isn’t cheap, costing $39.99 USD, but it does include quite a few things for the price. Let’s check them all out!

Battle Pass

The Watchpoint Pack does in fact include the game’s Season 1 Premium Battle Pass which includes 80 tiers of unique in-game items to unlock including, Mythic Cyber Demon Genji, Legendary Hinotori Kiriko, as well as the game’s base version of Kiriko.

Skins

As for skins, players will be granted 2 Legendary Hero Skins right off of the bat, exclusive to the Watchpoint Pack; Space Raider Soldier 76 and Space Raider Cassidy.

Currency

Additionally, players will be granted 2,000 Overwatch 2 Virtual Currency. This can be spent on in-game cosmetic items for your heroes as well as future Premium Battle passes, if you wish. Similar to other games with a season pass, you can also use the currency to purchase tier skips as well.

Other Things Included

That’s not all though, as the Watchpoint Pack has a couple of other great things to offer. Overwatch: Legendary Edition is also included in this pack, giving new players a chance to check out the original with a boatload of DLC for that game as well with 5 Epic and 5 Legendary hero Skins! Players will also get an exclusive Overwatch 2 Player icon if they purchase before October 4!
