June 22 was a big day for Call of Duty fans as Warzone was treated to the all-new Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune update that brought a lot of cool elements with it. The best by far though has been the new Resurgence map, Fortune’s Keep. This map has something for any kind of Call of Duty and seems like the perfect balance that Warzone has been chasing since its original Verdansk map. Today, we’re ranking every POI on Fortune’s Keep, naming our favorite at the end.
Warzone: All Fortune’s Keep Point of Interest (POI) Locations Ranked
Though all of these POIs are good in their own right, some are just clearly better for loot or just more enticing depending on where the circle is in proportion to the flight path. Some also have a really high risk of dying early on which makes them kind of a dealbreaker in most cases.
12. Overlook
By far, the worst drop on this map is Overlook. While there are some buildings to take cover at, there really isn’t enough loot to satisfy a full scavenging team. There are also a lot of risks that come with landing near a hot zone like Town with nowhere to run. That leads us to…
11. Town
Another of the least favorite, this part of the map is a zig-sawed mess where you are sure to constantly be chased or in a deathmatch while trying to locate starting weapons. I avoid this location like the plague unless it’s where the circle is ending.
10. Bay
Though this area has a nice quietness to it which makes looting a harmless chore, it’s just really boring and doesn’t put you in that good of a spot due to the fact that both the Winery and the Lighthouse can spot you depending on where you’re coming from.
9. Camp
Piggybacking off of Bay; this location has some very good loot and is actually a great spot to land specifically because of its loot-to-risk ratio. Unfortunately, it’s just another boring locale with not much cover from bigger POIs, making you an easy target from vantage points.
8. Keep
This location has a duality to it and a lot that goes with its being. The Keep is one of the hottest spots in the game, and for good reason. It has multiple levels of loot and even a secret vault with even better loot just waiting to be uncovered. The only thing is that you’ll spend so much time running and gunning that it really isn’t the most advantageous place for players who want to last longer than a few moments.
7. Graveyard
This is a great place as it can be quiet and has a nice assortment of loot. Not only that, but there’s a clear path to Town, Keep, and a hidden cavern that leads to the Grotto. This gives infinite possibilities when it comes to looting and/or evading pursuers as well.
6. Gatehouse
The Gatehouse is a great place because of its advantages. It’s literally in the center-most spot of the map, allowing for a clear view of everyone you have to watch out for. Better yet, you have a lot of looting possibilities within its walls and you can even catch some players coming out of Keep with their treasures, ripe for the taking.
5. Terraces
Similar to Gatehouse, this spot of the map offers vantage points but also runs a bit more on the quiet side which makes it easier to loot overall. Most importantly, there’s a great sniping point in the church tower as well as an escape route below in a hidden tunnel.
4. Winery
Though this POI tends to run hot at all times during a given match, it’s just so exciting to engage in. Between its various control points, underground wine cellar, and tower, this is just the perfect place to experience. Yes, there’s a lot of risk in this location but it feels worth it due to just how well it’s balanced.
3. Smuggler’s Cove
A somewhat dull choice for a number 3 pick, Smuggler’s Cove is way more than meets the eye. This location yields nothing but rewards to curious or sneaky players. For one, you have the pick of the litter when it comes to loot; the plentiful Grotto, the median between Grotto and Lighthouse, or the underground cave between it and Overlook. Then you have the sneaky route to ambush players taking the high ground at Overlook, Lighthouse, or the unmarked Radio Tower.
2. Lighthouse
This location wins second place because while there isn’t a ton of loot to its spot, you get the fabulous vantage point of the Lighthouse which can dominate for a majority of the game. Having a team acting as a well-oiled machine can guarantee that you will be in a good place for a while if you can hold it down.
1. Grotto
There is no other location quite like Grotto. Do you want loot, a quiet drop, and a clear strategic plan? It has all of that. This is the heart of the map and acts as such. Through its various caves and tunnels, you have a near-endless amount of loot and places to go if the circle pushes you out. You don’t ever really have to even worry about enemy players from above either as there’s so much cover.
That’s our full ranked list of the POIs in Warzone’s Fortune’s Keep. This map has so many cool locations and it was actually pretty difficult to nail each down to a number.
