Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Sharpshooter Build and Weapons

Keep your distance

Warhammer 40K: Darktide is not all about smashing and slicing. Sometimes, a more careful approach is required if you want to take down mighty beasts and snipe away dangerous enemies before they become dangerous. The Veteran: Sharpshooter is perfect for this cause, with long range guns and high damage to weak spots. Here is a run-down of all the Veteran’s abilities and weapons in Warhammer 40K: Darktide if you need a little more convincing.

Veteran build in Warhammer 40K: Darktide

The Veteran is a useful operative that may be the best defence against elite enemies. Being able to bore down on their weak spots takes them out before they inflict too much damage. Here are the abilities that allow this:

Ability

Volley Fire: Enter a ranged stance for 5s, instantly equipping your ranged weapon, and designating nearby non-Ogryn Elite and Specialist enemies as priority targets. During this stance you deal +50% ranged damage.

Blitz

Frag Grenade: Fragmentation grenade that explodes after a short fuse timer.

Aura

Scavenger Hunt: You and allies in Coherency gain a small amount of ammo whenever any of you kill an Elite enemy.

Iconic

Make Every Shot Count: +15% weak spot damage.

Be Prepared: Increase ammo reserve for all ranged weapons by 40%.
