The Mortuary Assistant continues to bring and deliver on a wealth of unpredictable scares and frightening sights with players loving every second of it all from the edge of their seats. Developer DarkStone Digital has no intention of stopping anytime soon on the momentum what with future updates that will add even more content to the base game sometime in the future.
That does not mean that everyone who wants to play the game have been able to as of now however, as its current state remains as a PC exclusive title. The Mortuary Assistant Console Release Date
With an understandable demand from potential buyers across different console platforms, a reply vocalized this mass want. On the developer’s Twitter, announcing the release of the game on Steam, a user asked for a PlayStation 5 release which did receive a prompt response from its creator Brian Clarke. The response from August 2nd read “I am looking at porting options with my publisher.”
His most recent response was in another reply within the same Twitter thread asking about any further updates since his initial response, with Brian commenting that “It’s a lengthy process but a porting team is looking at it.”
The jury’s out on whether or not certain consoles will be getting the game, but as of now, The Mortuary Assistant is being looked into to determine if ports of it are viable. Gamer Journalist will keep you updated on if and when these ports occur.
