Terraria Journey’s End Lava Fishing Guide

To start Lava fishing, you will need a few items. First, you will need a Bug Net, which you can buy from the Merchant NPC. Next, you need to get 15 Hellstone Bars. When you have both of these items, head over to a Hellstone Forge and craft a Lavaproof Bug Net.

The Lavaproof Bug Net allows you to catch bugs, snails, and butterflies down in Hell. You will need to use these insects as bait to get a bite while fishing in lava. The best thing to use as bait is Maga Snails, as they have 35% bait power and last longer than the other bait.

You can catch Obsidifish, Flarefin Koi, Obsidian and Hellstone crates, and various other items. There is a wide array of other items you can catch in the lava, but we don’t have a full list at the moment. Now that our Terraria Journey’s End Lava Fishing guide taught you everything you need to know, it’s time to give it a shot!
