Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler full of hidden areas and secret levels to uncover. One of the game’s best secrets levels gives homage to the most popular title in the genre: Diablo. The area we’re referring to is no other than the secret cow level. Mooshroom island is full of big crows of enemies, making it an ideal place to farm for loot and Emeralds. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get to the secret cow level in Minecraft Dungeons.
How to unlock the Secret Cow Level in Minecraft Dungeons
Throughout the game, you will encounter hidden objects you can interact with to reveal secret areas. Each level in Minecraft Dungeons has secrets, and the amount varies every time you generate a new map. You can pull up your map and look on the bottom left of the screen to see how many secrets you have unlocked, and how many hidden chests you have found.
When you complete the game and take down the Arch-Illager for the first time, you will have a new area in your Camp. It is not obvious, but some jump pads will be there that you can follow down to a Grand Hall. In this area, you will see some pictures hanging on the wall, and when you reach the main room, you will see a picture of a dog.
You will see various scenes from the game here, which serve as clues for finding the secrets. There is a gold button in this location with slots for ten different runes. After you collect all ten, the first of which you get from finding this area, you will unlock Mooshroom Island.
The brand new level has one mission, and that mission is “Moo?” You will find yourself on Mooshroom Island, surrounded by Mooshrooms and a boss called the Mooshroom Monstrosity. This area is a great place to farm for loot, experience, and Emeralds due to the high amount of enemies. Good luck grinding out your levels!
