Rogue Company August 20 Patch Notes

Rogue Company just pushed the Kyoto Job Update Hotfix and Console Update to address a variety of issues. Memory problems were causing the game to crash on consoles and some minor bugs on all platforms. Minor bug fixes include text errors, Mack’s passive giving him 150HP instead of 125HP if he reconnected to the game, and a problem with automatic weapons firing. One notable change is an issue that would cause automatic weapons to not fire after throwing a gadget. It was certainly one of the more annoying issues, but the game crashing altogether was one of the more serious focuses of this hotfix.

Rogue Company August 20 Patch Notes (Update 1.7)

The Rogue Company “Kyoto Job” Update Hotfix includes bug fixes and game crash fixes. Many crashes were allegedly due to memory issues, so the developers have made many changes to address them. The hotfix is a rather large update for Xbox and PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch users will need to wait a bit longer for the problem to be addressed in a separate update.

Xbox and PlayStation Changes

  • Fixed an issue that would cause the error “Unknown failure to join this queue.”
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Season 3 Starter Pack to not display in-game.

Switch Changes

  • Fixed a lighting issue on Switch that would have Rogues display black in the lobby.

All Platforms Changes

  • Fixed some grammar and punctuation errors in Rogue Bios.
  • Fixed an issue that gave Mack 150HP from his Passive instead of 125HP if he disconnects and reconnects.
  • Fixed an icon for the Gone Rogue Award.
  • Fixed a description for Ranked Demolition.
  • Fixed an issue that caused automatic weapons to fail to fire after throwing a gadget.

In addition to the crash update, we also wanted to address Switch players being unable to complete the Weekly Contract for King of the Hill. This was an error, which we will be addressed by making two changes, one immediate and the other long-term. Short term, Switch players will be able to enjoy King of the Hill 4v4 as an LTM, beginning this Monday, August 23; long term, we will be changing the Weekly Contract to “Win a match in a Limited Time Mode.” You can expect to see this change in the upcoming patch.

Additionally, they pushed a hotfix yesterday that included the following changes:

  • Fixed an issue that caused automatic weapons to fail to fire after throwing a gadget.
  • Fixed an issue that gave Mack 150HP from his Passive instead of 125HP if he disconnects and reconnects.
  • Fixed some grammar and punctuation errors in Rogue Bios.
  • Fixed a couple of issues that caused out-of-match crashes.
