Gadget Locations Roboquest

While playing Roboquest, you will be able to find various gadgets that will help you boost your character. There are 10 gadgets in total that you can find in different areas. Once you collect every possible gadget in Roboquest, you can activate or deactivate it by going to the gadget rack just before you start the game.

Here is the list of all the locations where you will find the gadgets.

Location #1 Battery Burger

To find the Battery Burger gadget, once you find yourself in the Canyon area, look for a buddy bot. Note that it will spawn randomly on the map just before the Oasis checkpoint. Come close to the bot and press E to pick it up. Whatever you do, don’t destroy the bot because if you do, you won’t be able to open the secret door.

After you cross the canyon and reach the Oasis area, look left, where you will see a waterfall. Behind it, there is a locked secret door, which can only be opened if you have the buddy bot with you. Once you open the door, you’ll find the “Swim Trunks,” which is a hidden place where you will see a robot who will exchange the “Battery Burger” with you for the swim trunks.

Location #2 Business Briefcase

The Business Briefcase gadget can be found in the Ruins area. When you get there, you will see a robot with a question mark above his head, standing next to an object that looks like a wrecked van or a wrecked part of a train.

Come closer to the small robot. He will ask if you have a power cell. If you provide the robot with it, he’ll give you the “Business Briefcase” gadget in exchange.

Location #3 Pogo Stick

To locate the Pogo Stick gadget in Roboquest, you’ll need to go to the Quarry area. Once you’re there, look for a small robot standing on an elevated platform.

Climb up to reach the robot and interact with him. After doing that, the small robot will provide you with the “Pogo Stick” gadget.

Location #4 Explorer Slipper

The Explorer Slipper gadget that can be found in the Canyon area of the map. In order to locate it, look for a big purple door with yellow sparks in front of it.

Note that you will have to carry your shovel with you for this one. That’s because you’ll need to dig out the “Explorer Slipper” gadget once you are behind the purple door.

Location #5 Roller

To find the Roller gadget, after you are done with the first part of the Canyon area, you will encounter an old robot located at the checkpoint. He will ask you for some data logs.

Then, you will have to locate and collect exactly 5 data logs. When you get them all, you can exchange them with the old robot for the “Roller” gadget.

Location #6 Metal Detector

Metal Detector gadget also requires collecting the data logs in order to be found and obtained. Again, the same old robot from the previous location is involved.

The robot will ask you to collect exactly 35 data logs. Once you do that, he will reward you with the “Metal Detector” gadget in exchange.

Location #7 Cooking Gloves

To find the Cooking Gloves gadget, when you reach the checkpoint area in the field’s map, there will be another old robot on the spot and it will ask you for a specific item.

The robot will ask for a specific type of gun. If you’re lucky enough to have that gun by your side, show it to the robot, and you will unlock the “Cooking Gloves” gadget.

Location #8 Hero Cape

The Hero Cape gadget can be found in the Aqua Station map checkpoint area. Near the location where you’ll see all of the NPCs, you will find an ice cube.

Note that you’ll have to carry the Power Fist weapon with you. Use it to melt the ice cube and obtain the “Hero Cape” gadget.

Location #9 Jetpack

Finding the Jetpack gadget is a tricky task. In order to obtain the “Jetpack” gadget, you’ll first need to find an item called “Randy Nose” in the Fusion Core checkpoint area. Also, you’ll need to find the “Cinema Ticket” item at the end of the Pit area just before you reach the final boss.

To get to the Pit area, you’ll first need to unlock a secret area behind a door. The code for opening that door is behind the main door in the Oasis area checkpoint. To open the Quarry door, find the key located in the tech room in the secret area of the Ruins, more specifically in the Field area checkpoint.

After you’re done with all of the previous tasks, you’ll need to start another run, this time to the Haven City. You will need to defeat 4 mini bosses to cross that area. Once you defeat them, go to the cinema shop, where you can enter using the previously obtained Cinema Ticket item. Inside the shop, you’ll find a small robot that will ask you to give it the Randy Nose item in order to unlock the Jetpack gadget.

Location #10 Grappling Hook

The Grappling Hook gadget is located in Haven City. On your left side, you should see a cave which can be entered through a secret entrance.

Note that the entrance will be locked. To unlock it, use the following combination of colors white, yellow, red, yellow, blue, and blue. Behind the door, you will find the Grappling Hook gadget.
