How to level up fast in Phantom Forces

In Phantom Forces, leveling up is your only metric of progression. As you gain more levels, more weapons will be available to you across the four different classes. For the most part, the weapons that you unlock will be better than their predecessors in their category of weapon type. Levels are also indicative of a player’s skill and potential arsenal.

If you want to level up quickly, then I’m afraid there’s only one way to do it. Get good at the game. You get experience points from killing enemies, and even from assisted kills. You will need to heed the combat tips and tricks below to improve your skill at the game to die less and kill more. Make sure to experiment with different weapons and make full use of the game’s movement systems.

How to super jump in Phantom Forces

Super jumping in Phantom Forces is a special manoeuvre that allows you to leap forwards a great distance. This technique will allow you to leap from one roof to another, or through a window without breaking a sweat, or even to lunge at an enemy whilst shooting. The super jump is a very versatile move that you should practice and use.

There are a few ways to super jump in Phantom forces. All require you to be sprinting first. Whilst you are running, jump, and in mid-air, either:

  • tap ‘z’
  • tap ‘x’

You will notice that you suddenly burst forwards, covering a lot of horizontal space rather than vertical. Use this method to escape your enemies and confuse them as you suddenly launch towards them. Use your new found power wisely.

How to get credits in Phantom Forces

Credits in Phantom Forces are used to unlock weapons early and buy crates and keys for skins. Credits are a little difficult to obtain, so you’ll need to be wise with them. The only way to get straight credits is through level up bonuses and selling your weapon skins.

Every time you level up, you are rewarded with a bunch of credits. But leveling up isn’t really a stable source of credits. To really make credits in Phantom Forces, you’ll need to open a whole bunch of skins.

To get skins, you need to open crates, which need their corresponding keys. Crates and keys are given as daily login bonuses and as rewards for winning matches. So over time, you’ll accumulate a lot of keys and crates. To open a crate, click on either its key or the crate in your inventory. You’ll role a random skin that will have a certain value.

Rarer skins sell for more, but credits are credits. Keep selling your skins and over time you’ll accumulate a lot.

Combat Tips and Tricks for Phantom Forces

If you want to really dominate in the game, heed this list of advise.

Experiment, then focus

If you want to get real good at Phantom Forces, the general advice is to find one class and weapon you really like and stick with it. However, before you can do that, you need to experiment. Make sure to play with every weapon in your arsenal generously across your classes. Try to either play a full game or get ten kills with each weapon before you choose one.

This will elevate your skill and make you more aware on the strengths and weaknesses of each weapon. Do bear in mind that that more and more weapons will be unlocked as you level up, and generally those weapons will be better than their predecessors in that category, so make sure to upgrade when you can.

Once you have selected your weapon of choice, you can start to stick with it. Sticking with a weapon improves your skill with that class of weapon and also works towards the weapon’s attachments, which will improve that weapon even more.

Before you know it, you’ll be slaughtering all in your way. A soldier is only as good as their knowledge of their weapon, after all. So becoming skillful with your weapon is your first step towards domination. Take every death as a lesson.

Don’t forget your attachments

Make sure to browse all of the attachments for your current weapon of choice. As soon as you unlock them, equip them. Good attachments can really improve the weapon, from less recoil to better sights to better accuracy.

You’ll notice that all the good players have their attachments equipped, and the defining factor between them killing you to you killing them, may very well have been their attachments. Don’t forget them and don’t ignore them.

Manoeuvre wisely

Take time to learn what all of the buttons do. A lot of them will be some sort of movement feature, from crouching to sprinting to jumping. You won’t be able to dominate the game without mastering the movement. Tactical, controlled, and precise movement will win you more battles and fights as you keep focused on your target whilst evading their bullets.

Being able to not panic and dash or crouch or jump in danger will stop you from throwing yourself to your death. You must be aware of your movement and theirs, to predict where they’re going to go whilst remaining yourself unpredictable. The super jump is a great way to do this.

Outsmart your opponents

Try not to simply run around and shoot. You will need to employ strategy if you want to cause the most damage. Keep note of what the winning conditions for the match are and use it against your opponents. You must remain aware of your enemies’ locations and positioning to flank them or perform effective charges.

Naturally, you don’t have see-through vision and you can’t predict the future, but what you can do is prepare. If there are numerous bullet streams hitting your position, the last thing you should do it look up and fire back. You will die.

Generally, don’t run straight for the fights, but look for ways to pounce on your enemies from the side or behind. Most of your allies will be running to the front lines, but if you want to kill your opponents, you’ll need to think of smarter angles and tactics.

Think of what you would do in their situation, and use it against them.

Heal up

A quick note but an important one, keep an eye on your health. If you are hurt, escape the action for a moment to heal up. You may miss you kill, but you’ll be denying your opponents of one, too.
