How to Obtain Keys in DMZ

Keys are randomized loot that can appear in all lootable containers. Such as in duffle bags, crates and on fallen militia. Whilst you can explore the named locations on Al Mazrah and search everywhere for the possibility of a DMZ Key dropping. Your best bet is to check the Post Office inside Al Mazrah. However, you need the special Key to get into this area. Therefore, we recommend going to the City and taking down as many low-level enemies as you can. These are the easiest and take the least amount of time to kill. When you loot one of these Keys, check your inventory for its location. If it is a grey icon, this item is a Common Key which only opens containers such as caches and toolboxes.

The inventory slot for a special Key will appear as a golden icon and a named location will be tied to its title. Once you obtain the Post Office Key, head to the Office via the Mail icon on the Al Mazrah City Map. Loot as quickly as you can in the mail boxes for the Keys. You should receive an average of 5 Keys per visit. Hopefully, the Server Admin Key you are looking for appears here. Alternatively, head to the Buy Station where a special Key will be available. However, this is randomized also.

What Does the Server Admin Key Open?

Once you have obtained the Police Academy Server Admin Key, you need to head to the very eastern edge of Al Mazrah City. The Police Academy is found on the outskirts of the City. You can refer to the Police Badge Icon on the Map just east of the named location ‘Al Mazrah City’ on the Map. The building we are looking for, for the Server Admin Key door is south of the Academy. You want to visit the north side of this building (the side which faces the Academy).

The door which unlocks with the Server Admin Key is marked by a white graffitied cross on its centre. This door is located on the ground floor of the white building. There is also a keypad next to the door for further information on the particular door you need to find. Refer to the screenshot below for an exact location of the door which the Server Admin Key opens (red dot on the map).

Inside, check the Filing Cabinets, Computer Cache and the orange Supply Crate for extra loot. These should be appropriate upgrades for your survival on Al Mazrah. Also, check the ground in this room as loot should be there, from weapons to backpacks and vests. The items are randomized so each visit to this place whenever you find the special Key will have a different outcome for its loot.
