How to Complete Who Needs Wings (Dodrio) in New Pokemon Snap

One of the final requests on Florio Nature Park’s nighttime level is to snag a picture of Dodrio flying. Well, it doesn’t exactly fly, but it’s close enough for Rita. Completing this request will also get you a 4-star Dodrio pose, so it’s a good one to finish, and it’s not all that challenging. Here’s how to complete Who Needs Wings in New Pokemon Snap.

The LenTalk request from Rita reads, “Hey! I just heard Dodrio can fly! I’ve never seen one do that before. Have you?”

How to Complete Who Needs Wings in New Pokemon Snap

  1. Start on Florio Nature Park (Night) on Research Level 2.
  2. Finding any Dodrio close enough for a good photo.
  3. Throw an Illumina Orb at Dodrio.
  4. Capture a photo when Dodrio jumps in the air and attempts to fly.

You can find Dodrio in the Florio Nature Park (Night) level on Research Level 2. There’s one immediately after the Pinsir spot with the dirt mound. You can also find one at the end of the level after the Hoothoot sitting on the sign. Either one works fine, so take your pick.

When you’re in a good position and fairly close to the Dodrio (for maximum points), toss an Illumina Orb at it. If you make contact with your orb, the Dodrio with fly up into the air and start “flying.” That’s the moment you want to capture on photo.

Getting the photo opportunity will get you both a 4-star photo of Dodrio and complete the Who Needs Wings LenTalk request in New Pokemon Snap. It’s an easy one to knock off your list.
