Celebi is one of ten Legendary Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap, the addictive photography game for Nintendo Switch. The game has many tasks to complete, and some of them require a multi-step process that’s tough to figure out. One of those requests is the Myth of the Forest, in which Todd says that Celebi must be waiting for its friends. Naturally, it would help if you got a picture to prove he’s right. Here’s how to complete the Myth of the Forest request and get a 4 star Celebi in New Pokemon Snap.
How to complete Myth of the Forest in New Pokemon Snap
- Load into Elsewhere Forest Research Level 3.
- Take the regular route until the fourth area.
- Hit Celebi with an Illumina Orb, and it will disappear.
- Feed Celebi a Fluffrit when it reappears, and it will disappear again.
- Hit the Celebi sitting on the ruins with an Illumina Orb.
- Wait for the other Celebi to show up, and then play a Melody.
- Take a picture of the dancing Celebi.
To complete Myth of the Forest, you’ll want to load into Elsewhere Forest on Research Level 3. Go through the entire level without interacting with Espeon, and after two zones, you’ll arrive in the area to spot a Celebi. The Pokemon is at the very beginning of the level flying around, and you’ll need to hit it with an Illumina Orb.
After hitting Celebi with an Illumina Orb, it will spin and then disappear, only to reappear again in a few seconds further along the path. When the Celebi reappears, you can toss a Fluffruit near it, and it will eat it, then do the same animation and disappear once more. FInally, it will reappear sitting on top of the ruins to the left side of the path. Hit it with an Illumina Orb and then wait for its buddies to show up.
When all the Celebi are near each other, play a Melody and take a nice shot of them all. That’s how you take a 4 Star Celebi shot and complete Myth of the Forest, a LenTalk request from Todd for Elsewhere Forest.
If you’re having trouble getting Celebi to show up, you’ll want to make sure you have beaten the entire game and unlocked all the Illumina Pokemon.
