In sports games, creating your own player makes a career mode feel more personal and entertaining. I consider myself a fan of sports career modes, and I have lost count of how many custom players I have created in my gaming lifetime. Poor guys, they are in gaming limbo as we speak. Anyway, putting the nightmare state of gaming avatars aside, creating players is a great activity, but sometimes you just need to start over and let go of your past story in the sport. Thankfully, in the digital world, this is possible. Here is how to delete a created player in MLB The Show 22.
How to Delete a Created Player
There are a couple of ways you can delete a created player in MLB The Show 22. But first, you must know that if said player is currently active, you won’t be able to delete it. That means that you will want to set another created player active before deleting the one you originally wanted to delete. Once you do that (or if you needed to do that), go ahead and select Profile, click on Manage, and then on Remove Ballplayer. Select the created player you wish to remove and you will be all done.
Now, the other way you can remove players is by completely removing all player data in the game, effectively removing all created players as well. To do this, go to Settings in the main menu, then click on File Management, click Delete, and then click on Delete Players. This will wipe out all the created players in MLB The Show 22.

This process is completely different to deleting players in general, so don’t go that way, otherwise you will alter the team’s rosters, and maybe you don’t want to do that at all. Having said that, if you wish to delete the created players only, just follow the above guide and don’t get overly complicated.
