Marvel Future Revolution Iron Man: build for PvP and PvE

The best Marvel Future Revolution Iron Man builds, including skills and specializations for PvE and PvP content.

An old Iron Man thing that I wish they’d bring back is his modular armor. Back in the mid-90s animated series, Iron Man’s armor could shapeshift into a bunch of modular forms, from deep-sea to deep-space, heat-proof to radiation-proof. At least the modern Iron Man has lots of different gadgets and suits to choose from, even if it’s not as cool. Here are some recommended builds for Iron Man in Marvel Future Revolution.

Iron Man’s kit boasts high DPS and relative ease of use, making him an excellent choice for players either just starting out or looking for someone to stick with long-term. Any of his moves and skills are viable, but if you’re looking to specialize, you’ll want to create your Iron Man builds around whether you’re playing PvE or PvP.

Marvel Future Revolution Iron Man PvP Build:

Best Iron Man PvP Skills

Guided MissilesLaunches missiles to deal 209% damage. Attacks up to 16 enemies. Deals greater damage when missiles stack on a target.
Anti-Tank MissilesDeals 295% damage with a missile that explodes after attacking.
Weakness ScanDeals 96% damage to nearby enemies and pushes back the attacked enemies. Increases ATK while the skill lasts.
Spin BladeCreates an energy blade to deal Bleed damage to up to 3 enemies in a linear area.
Party Time ProtocolCharges forward to deal damage and knocks down the attacked enemy. Remotely controls 2 Iron Man Suits to support the battle while the skill lasts.

Guided Missiles works in any build, so you should always be utilizing this skill. It has solid AoE damage, but it also deals great single-target damage due to the ability’s passive. For each stack accumulated on an enemy, Weapon Cartridges deals increased damage. Anti-Tank Missiles are good for having low stamina, low cooldown, medium guard break, and the fact that they can hit multiple targets for great damage. This is our second ability for our arsenal that we can spam on low cooldown to deal with groups or single targets.

Weakness Scan is a good option if you have plenty of cooldown or you are running cooldown specializations. However, if you do not have a cooldown-oriented build, you can swap this out for Operation Speed Amplification. Spin Blade is an ability you want to hold on to until the opportunity presents itself. It is a nice AoE move with high damage, and you won’t be spamming it as much as the first three skills. Party Time Protocol is also a great addition to the build, as it does a ton of damage and makes it tough for people to handle in Dimension Duel.

Your goal is to spam abilities and cycle through them as quickly as possible. Spam attacks like Guided Missiles and Anti-Tank Missiles when you can, and follow it up with a weakness scan to rotate through them again.

Best Iron Man PvP Specializations

Algorithm ImprovementDecreases skill cooldown by 2.5% for 10s when using a [J.A.R.V.I.S.] class skill (Cooldown: 20s).
OverclockIncreases damage by 3% and stamina consumption by 3% when using attack skills.
Anti-Armor BulletWhen attacking a target with 50% HP or below, increases Armor Penetration by 3%.
Weakness AnalysisIncreases damage dealt to Bleeding or Burned targets by 3%.

Algorithm Improvement helps with cooldowns, which is what we want to focus on to let us spam abilities. It only applies to J.A.R.V.I.S. skills, though, but our third skill, Weakness Scan or Operation Speed Application, falls under that category. If you are having stamina issues, you can always go with Energy Recycling instead of Algorithm Improvement. You can get a percentage of consumed stamina by adding this specialization. What’s best depends on your gear.

Overclock is a no-brainer for most any builds, as it’s one of the best specializations. You’re basically sacrificing the possibility of getting stamina-locked for 3% bonus damage on attacks. A pretty nice tradeoff, if you ask me. Anti-Armor Bullet is a good pickup for the bonus Armor Penetration on enemies below half health. You certainly feel it in Dark Zone and Raids. Weakness Analysis is great for PvE, so you can pick this up as well. It also synergizes with Anti-Armor Bullet and provided some overall nice bonus damage.

Marvel Future Revolution Iron Man PvE Build:

Best Iron Man PvE Skills

Party Time ProtocolCharges forward to deal damage and knocks down the attacked enemy. Remotely controls 2 Iron Man Suits to support the battle while the skill lasts.
Weakness ScanDeals damage to nearby enemies and pushes back the attacked enemies. Increases ATK while the skill lasts.
Napalm BombLaunches a napalm bomb that deals flame damage, then burns the ground to deal continuous damage.
Incendiary BombSecures distance with a dodge maneuver, and then launches an incendiary bomb to inflict flame damage.
Spin BladeCreates an energy blade to deal Bleed damage to up to three enemies in a linear area.

First up, Party Time Protocol puts down the Iron Legion Bots, adding a nice amount of damage based on Iron Man’s attack. These are excellent for both PvE and PvP. Next, we go with the J.A.R.V.I.S. class ability known as Weakness Scan to increase Iron Man’s attack by a big percent. In turn, this boosts Party Time Protocol since those scale on attack damage.

Then, we go with Napalm Balm for a medium guard break and burn damage that provides another 20% attack bonus. Next, the Incendiary Bomb is a high guard break, providing yet another 20% attack bonus for six seconds and dealing a big hit of flame damage. Finally, the finisher is Spin Blade. It’s good for multiple enemies, and it hits for a massive amount of damage and synergizes well with the build.

Best Iron Man PvE Specializations

Artificial AnalysisIncreases damage dealt to Super Villain by 3% for eight seconds when using a [Weapon Cartridges] class skill.
Weakness AnalsyisIncreases damage dealt to Bleeding or Burned targets by 3%.
Anti-Armor BulletWhen attacking a target with 50% HP or below, increases Armor Penetration by 3%.

First, we take Artificial Analysis to boost the damage of three of our five abilities. It increases overall damage to any Super-Villains, providing a nice little bonus cap to our upper-end damage. You can put ten points into this to get a 30% gain, which is noticeable on all abilities, particularly Spin Blade.

Second, Weakness Analysis provides the same 30% bonus attack with all ten points invested, but this time it’s against Bleeding or Burned targets. Considering our move set, this makes perfect sense and will nearly always provide us with the damage boost.

Finally, you can pick up Anti-Armor Bullet to have some nice extra damage during the burn phase. You will certainly notice this in raids and other events against high-health targets.
