Soulfist is a popular choice in the western release of Lost Ark, and it’s a class often compared to a Dragon Ball Z character considering its abilities. The Soulfist class specializes in powerful melee attacks and ranged energy attacks for dealing sustained damage as a hybrid martial artist. Dynamic abilities make for some fun and fast gameplay, but engravings can dramatically affect how you play. We’ll give an overview of both playstyle’s Lost Ark Soulfist Engravings below.

Depending on your preferred playstyle, you may opt for one of two builds: Energy Overflow or Robust Spirit. If you consider yourself a bit of a masochist, you might opt for the more difficult one, which is Energy Overflow. It involves a lot of rotation management and muscle memory. However, for more consistency, nearly all players will go with Robust Spirit. Lost Ark Soulfist Engravings

Like every class in Lost Ark, two exclusive Engravings are available for the Soulfist. Players are not limited to those two only, and there are dozens of other engravings available to boost your stats and compliment your playstyle. These are listed in priority of how you should get them. As you level and unlock more engravings, you can go down the list and add the others.

Soulfist Exclusive Engravings

• Energy Overflow – Energy does not go below 1, but the additional Energy recovery effect is not applied during Hype. If Energy is below 30% damage, increase a percentage to foes.
• Robust Spirit – When using Hype, enters level 3 immediately. While in Hype Mode, Energy recovery speed and damage increases.

Recommended Soulfist Engravings for Energy Overflow

• Energy Overflow – Energy does not go below 1, but the additional Energy recovery effect is not applied during Hype. If Energy is below 30% damage, increase a percentage to foes.
• Cursed Doll – Attack Power increases. Healing decreases, except for natural recovery.
• Adrenaline – After using skills, Attack Power increases and stacks up to six times. At max stacks, Crit Rate increases.
• Raid Captain – Outgoing damage increases a percentage of basic Move Speed bonus percentage.
• Precise Dagger – Crit Rate and Crit Damage increases.
• Keen Blunt Weapon – Crit Damage increases but your attacks have a chance to deal 20% less damage.
• Grudge – Damage increases to Boss or above monsters. Incoming damage also increases.

Recommended Soulfist Engravings for Robust Spirit

• Robust Spirit – When using Hype, enters level 3 immediately. While in Hype Mode, Energy recovery speed and damage increases.
• Awakening – Awakening Skill cooldown reduced, and you get bonus uses.
• Adrenaline – After using skills, Attack Power increases and stacks up to six times. At max stacks, Crit Rate increases.
• Master of Ambush – Damage increases for successful back attacks.
• Grudge – Damage increases to Boss or above monsters. Incoming damage also increases.
• Cursed Doll – Attack Power increases. Healing decreases, except for natural recovery.
• Mass Increase – Attack speed decreases and Attack Power increases.

The Soulfist has two main builds that are heavily utilized, which are Energy Overflow and Robust Spirit. Energy Overflow encouraged you to rotate through most of your stances. You will need to actively manage your cooldowns and timings for this build. The nice thing about Energy Overflow, as its name implies, is that you will never run out of energy for skills. It can be a difficult class to play, considering all of the buffs, active skills, and cooldown management. For this Lost Ark Soulfist Engraving build, you would go with Swift and Crit.

Robust Spirit puts you into your final stance. You will alternate between your strongest and weakest stances. Most players who use this build (which is a majority of people), will only take the Engraving to level one for more Engraving options. Out of all top players from the previous game’s release, only a small percentage use Energy Overflow. The reason is that Energy Overflow is simply more difficult to play. For that reason, many will learn toward Robust Spirit for consistency. For Robust Spirit, you would want to focus Spec and Crit stats.
