What are Ghost Ships in Lost Ark?

Ghost Ships are essentially open-world events that take place in predesignated areas in the open waters of Arkesia. The ships are basically floating islands that you can load into (or board) and take down waves of enemies and a boss. In a sense, it’s like an open-world raid boss that drops rewards like honing materials and other goodies.

There are three different Ghost Ship events in Lost Ark:

  • Nightmare Ghost Ship (Lv. 460)
  • Shadow Ghost Ship (Lv. 960)
  • Tempest Ghost Ship (Lv. 1370)
Lost Ark Ghost Ships Locations

All three ships are located on the western side of the map by Rohendel, Punika, and Feiton. Therefore, in order to participate in these Ghost Ship events, you will need to reach at least item level 460 and complete the main story quest that sends you to Rohendel.

It’s worth noting you can only do one of these Ghost Ship events per week, and they are actually quite challenging. For that reason, you will likely want to try and get into a somewhat organized group, or at least one that has enough geared and skilled players to beat the content easily. However, you do not need a party to do this content, as you will be assigned with a group of players upon entering.

How to find Ghost Ships in Lost Ark

The easiest way to find Ghost Ships is by first going into your Una’s Tasks (ALT+J) and navigating to the Reputation Status tab. Type in Ghost Ship, and you should see the “Ghost Ship: Eibern’s Wound” task that rewards some pretty cool stuff. Tap on the magnifying glass to the right of this to open Una’s Task entitled “Bleak Night Fog.”

Lost Ark Ghost Ships Rewards

After completing this quest, you can pay attention to the alarms on the top left of the screen, or go into Procyon’s Compass to get the schedule for upcoming Ghost Ships. You can also go into the map and type in “Ghost Ship” to get a look at the locations, which are also displayed in the image above.

Each Ghost Ship completion in Lost Ark grants progress toward Eibern’s Wound. When you get it to reputation rank three, you can actually unlock a Ghost Ship that you can use to sail around in yourself!

What are the Rewards for Ghost Ships?

The rewards for completing Ghost Ships vary depending on the level of Ghost Ship. You can view these by going into Procyon’s Compass under the Ghost Ship tab. Ghost Ships offer the following rewards, for the tier level of the ship you’re completing:

  • Honing Materials (Stones, Shards, Breaths)
  • Akkan
  • Engravings
