Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings

Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings

We have everything you need to know about Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings, including the best picks and some recommended alternatives.

The Deathblade is a close-range melee subclass of the Assassin class and is a popular pick in the Western release of Lost Ark. The blade’s meter consists of three orbs that fill up as you deal damage. When the meter is full, it provides mana recovery, cooldown reductions, attack speed, and damage buffs. The fast-paced dual swords lead to death by a thousand cuts.

The Deathblade has two class-specific Engravings, as does every other class in Lost Ark. The two Engravings for this class are Remaining Energy and Surge. Remaining Energy allows for endless skill rotation and high sustained DPS. On the other hand, Surge is a more burst-damage-oriented build that involves building and consuming stacks. Below, we’ve listed all the Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings, with recommended options for both DPS and Support.

Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings

Similar to every class in Lost Ark, the Deathblade has two exclusive Engravings available. However, players are not limited to these two options. There are dozens of other engravings available that can boost your stats and complement your playstyle. The list below provides the priority order for acquiring engravings. As you level up and unlock more engravings, you can work your way down the list and add the others. For the Deathblade, we recommend building engravings around firepower.

Deathblade Exclusive Engravings

  • Surge – Deathblade Surge is a back attack oriented class, so watch out for your positional during raid or encounters. Surge is a very easy spec to play due to it just being built around hitting the boss in the right spot on top of a very simple rotation of: Maelstrom, Flash Blink and Void Strike.
  • Remaining Energy – This build’s core gameplay revolves around using high damage skills while still building up the orb meter and using Surge to greatly lower every skill cooldown as fast as possible, Remaining Energy complements this very well by augmenting every skill’s damage other than Surge.
  • Surge
  • Grudge
  • Ambush Master
  • Adrenaline
  • Keen Blunt Weapon

Recommended Deathblade Engravings for Remaining Energy

  • Remaining Energy
  • Adrenaline
  • Grudge
  • Ambush Master
  • Super Charge
  • Cursed Doll

Remaining Energy can be used as a level 1 engraving, as the attack power buff it provides affects all skills except Surge. However, since Surge is the highest damage dealer of all skills, it is more effective to use a level 3 Cursed Doll engraving for increased damage output. If you dislike the healing debuff from Cursed Doll, you can swap it out for Keen Blunt Weapon at the cost of a small damage loss. For a temporary and cost-effective build, you can remove Cursed Doll and use a level 3 Adrenaline engraving instead.

That’s not to say you cannot run whatever Engraving you like, though. No matter your pick, you will want to focus on Spec and Crit stat on your gear. Both Engraving specs will require you to build your meter quickly, and that’s what these stats are designed to do.

Those are our recommendations for the best Lost Ark Deathblade Engravings. Feel free to experiment, though, to see what you like best! For more guides, you can check out our website’s Lost Ark section.

Obsessed with grinding, always playing some game you've never heard of. I am a huge MMORPG, Gacha and farming simulator fan. If I'm not grinding something in one of the many games I play (Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, Runescape, Epic Seven etc) I can be found working on my novel, reading, watching anime or hanging out with my three dogs.
