How to Change Your Guild Name in Lost Ark

I think we’ve all given something a name that we’ve eventually come to regret at least once in our lives. I made my personal email address when I was ten, and I still cringe every time I have to verbally say it to someone. Thankfully, unlike my email address, if you end up not liking the name of your Guild in Lost Ark, you’re free to change it (though perhaps “free” isn’t the best word). Here’s how to change your Guild name in Lost Ark.

First and foremost, the only way you can change your Guild’s name is by being the Guild Master. Only the Guild Master is permitted to make any changes to the Guild’s name, iconography, and so forth. Secondly, before you can enact a name change, you’ll need to purchase a Name Change Ticket from the in-game store. A Name Change Ticket costs 2,900 Royal Crystals, which is roughly equivalent to about $30 USD, so make sure you really, really need to change that name before you decide to buy your ticket.

How to Change Your Guild Name in Lost Ark

Follow these steps to change your Guild name in Lost Ark:

  1. Purchase a Name Change Ticket from the in-game store
  2. Open your Guild screen and scroll to the Manage tab
  3. Click the Change Guild Name button to spend the ticket and change the Guild’s name

Once you’ve got your Name Change Ticket, simply open up your Guild screen and switch to the Manage tab. Under the Guild Management sub-tab, you should see a button reading Change Guild Name, though you can only click it if you have a Name Change Ticket. Click that button, enter the new name you want, and hit confirm, and your Guild’s name will be officially changed. Just a heads up, all Guild names have to be between 2 and 20 characters in length.

Incidentally, if you want to change your Guild’s iconography, such as your flag or emblem, you can do that for free. On the same Guild Management sub-tab, you should see a picture of your Guild’s flag with an Edit Flag button next to it. Just click that button and you can make whatever changes to the Guild’s flag floats your boat. No tickets necessary here, just confirm the edits when you’re finished, and all members of your Guild will be able to see them.
