Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games have released the Lost Ark roadmap for April and May, and it looks like exciting times are ahead for the heroes of Arkesia. The roadmap outlines the game’s development plans for the next two months, including new content and events that players can look forward to in the not-so-distant future.

The team is continuing to focus on giving players new ways to earn more honing materials and gifts to speed up the leveling process. Most notably, though, we have two new advanced classes coming our way in Lost Ark: Glaivier and Destroyer.

Lost Ark Glaivier Class: Advanced Martial Artist Class

First up, the Glaivier is a Martial Artist advanced class who slices and dices through foes with a spear and glaive. Players can swap between the two skill sets, Focus and Flurry, to alternate between weapons. The short spear unleashes a barrage in Flurry stance, and the longer-range glaive unleashes lethal strikes and sweeping attacks in Focus stance.

The description mentions that players will be able to find a nice balance between the two stances by using one to build up energy and stat boosts before switching to the other one. Glaivier will be the fifth Martial Artist advanced class, alongside the Wardancer, Soulfist, Striker, and Scrapper.

Lost Ark Destroyer Class: Advanced Warrior Class

In May, players have a new Warrior advanced class to look forward to by the name of Destroyer. The Destroyer is a hammer-wielding warrior who can deliver crushing blows and bend gravity. Destroyers can slow, push, pull, and launch enemies across the map. The Destroyer joins as the fourth Warrior advanced class, alongside Berserker, Paladin, and Gunlancer.

Aside from these two new classes, South Vern is joining the game as a brand new continent. Abundant waters and lush pastures changed this barren land, but what is now happening to the once peaceful continent? South Vern is a new Tier 3 continent that requires iLvl 1340 to begin. Players who have yet to reach the required item level will have new ways to progress to Tier 3 to join in on the adventure.

Smilegate and Amazon also outline general updates, including new log-in rewards, events, skins, and store updates. Also, a Feiton powerpass provides item level 960 gear to deck out that new Glaivier! QoL improvements include improved co-op party play on secret maps, shared chat tab settings across rosters, and improved book of coordination settings.

Further into the roadmap, fans can look out for Trial Guardian Raids. Every week, players will be able to attempt to defeat three Trial Guardians, each with their own required item level to enter. One will rotate out weekly and be replaced. Trials Guardian Raids apply ‘Scale of Harmony,’ so players’ character item levels will adjust to their enemy’s. An increased challenge means increased rewards.

We also have a tentative new Guardian Raid called Deskaluda. The new Guardian will be one of the most powerful, requiring item level 1415 to enter. Like others, you can try to solo the Guardian, go with a party, or use the matchmaking system to pug it. Finally, we’ve got the first Legion Raid for the western release: Valtan (normal and hard).

Valtan is a difficult eight-man team-based activity requiring teamwork, synergy, and communication. It’s not meant to be easy, as each Legion Command brings unique mechanics and abilities to the fight. These Legion Raids are some of the toughest content in the game, but there are ‘gates’ that act as checkpoints to save a player’s progress as they advance through the raid.

That’s everything you need to know about the Lost Ark roadmap for April and May. For more guides and content, check out our Lost Ark section.
