Yes, Lego Fortnite Chest Item Repair Glitch Is Fixed. Is There an Alternative?

Chest glitch is no more.

The party is over, guys. Repairing your tools and weapons is no longer possible through the chest glitch, as devs have noticed it and fixed it ASAP. Many were disappointed by this fact and wondered if there was any other glitch that could serve the same purpose.

How to Repair Tools and Weapons After Chest Glitch Fix in Lego Fortnite

Unfortunately, at the moment, there’s no reliable way for you to fix your tools and weapons. You can only craft more new tools and weapons when old ones get destroyed or enchant the existing ones for extended durability, but even those don’t last for an extremely long time.

Everyone’s favorite chest glitch that allowed you to put items with low durability in a chest, smash the chest, and pick up items in a brand-new state has been removed. It caused a lot of stir among the Lego Fortnite community, and some players have gone as far as calling the game unplayable. That’s probably not true, but the fact is that the gameplay will look a lot different from now on since “repairing” items with this glitch was a regular part of everyone’s farming and adventuring.

What some players suggested as a possible solution is a system in which your tool loses durability only when an ore/tree is destroyed (like in Minecraft) instead of losing its durability on every hit.

How to Enchant Your Tools and Weapons in Lego Fortnite

You can increase the durability of your tools and weapons by enchanting them at the Essence Table. To build this table, you will need 20x Flexwood and 6 Cut Amber. After that, build it from Stations> Craft Menu> Utility Tab.

To increase the durability of your items, simply approach the Essence Table and interact with it. From 4 Essences that show up on your screen, select the Essence of Durability and add it to your weapon/tool of choice. This Essence will cost you 1x Rough Amber and 10x Granite Slab.

Chest Glitch Still Working for Some Items

For the time being, the chest glitch is still working for the Grappler, and this is very valuable info as this item allows for smoother and easier traveling around the Lego Fortnite worlds. My guess is that since the Grappler loses charges and not durability over time, the fix the devs released failed to include this item.
