Unturned is a free-to-play zombie survival game that is developed almost entirely off the back from community feedback. You can team up with your buddies and survive the apocalypse. Many people have questions about the development history of the game. Many things point to Unturned either being a Roblox game, or having been originally on Roblox. Are either of those statements true?
Is or was Unturned a Roblox game?
To be honest, Unturned sure does look like it was made in Roblox, and it doesn’t help that the developer was a very popular Roblox creator. However, Unturned itself was never a Roblox game, and isn’t now. What it is, is a free-to-play game on Steam that shares visual similarities to Roblox, which could have spurred some confusion.

However, the most likely reason for this question being asked is because the developer of Unturned, Nelson Sexton, was a popular Roblox creator, Deadzonezackzak, who created Roblox classic games such as Deadzone, or battlefield that are currently inaccessible aside from unofficial reconstructions. Given his past and the look of the game, it’s no wonder people may have though Unturned to be another Roblox game.
Sexton stopped developing for Roblox and created Unturned, which remains a popular game that takes community feedback very seriously. It still receives updates and the developer is very much in-touch with the community. Unturned is many things, but being a Roblox game is not one of them.
