After more than two years since 2K Games’ last PGA installment, the greatest golf video game franchise is back with PGA Tour 2K23. With a worldwide release date of October 14, it won’t be long now before we can get our hands on the upcoming sports title. And while PGA Tour 2K23 is set to expand the 2K’s golfing series in a number of notable ways, fans are curious to know whether or not it will support crossplay.

Cross-platform play (or crossplay), allows users on different platforms to play online multiplayer games with one another. Meaning that PC players can compete with and against their friends on Xbox and PlayStation.

When it comes to 2K Sports, they’ve long supported crossplay for the majority of their sports games. That being said, 2K hasn’t featured any promotional content based around this feature for PGA Tour 2K23. So, unless it just hasn’t been announced yet, it’s unlikely that the game will support crossplay.

PGA Tour 2K23 will feature a number of online game modes with societies tournaments and seasons. So, the fact that you won’t be able to hit the links with your buddies on other systems is certainly disappointing. However, crossplay has become the standard across most major titles, including popular sports games like FIFA 23. So, it’s a feature that we could see added after launch.
