Activision and Infinity Ward’s latest projects, Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 are here, serving as the next step for the franchise as a whole. But while this is the next step in a new direction, both companies have never strayed away from incorporating old maps into their newer titles.
And that rings true for both MW2 and Warzone 2.0 as well. One specific map that players have hoped to see this time around is the Highrise map from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) game. As it turns out, Highrise is most definitely available for players in Warzone 2.0’s AL Mazrah map. It’s located at the heart of Al Mazrah City, and features many, many rooms throughout the buildings that make up Highrise, on both sides where players would spawn in the original map.
It’s a pretty great recreation of the fan-favorite map that a lot of players have already begun to explore. It features many zip lines, a helicopter pad in the center that usually has a flyable chopper on it, and a lot of locations to loot within the offices it holds.
Unfortunately for MW2, there hasn’t been a concrete “yes” from Activision or Infinity Ward on whether or not the map would be returning to multiplayer, though it could be in the cards as an addition in an upcoming season.

Where is Highrise in Warzone 2.0’s Al Marah?
Again, if you’re looking for Highrise, the center of Al Mazrah City is going to be your target. You can’t miss it as it’s the longest building on the map in that area, and is situated near a roundabout, making it an easy POI to remember.
Additionally, this location, similar to the skyscrapers in Warzone’s Verdansk map, features great vantage points for sniping or just a great way to get a lay of the land when strategizing for your next move.
