The Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night’s Lazzo finally shows the rest of the Harbingers while they attend La Signora’s funeral. It was an enticing way to introduce us to the crew, and we can’t get enough of them since their surprising appearances.
Players are wondering if the new Harbingers are playable in Genshin Impact, especially since we get to play as Tartaglia and Scaramouche. The playability of Columbina, in particular, has sparked curiosity in fans.
Is Columbina Playable in Genshin Impact?
Columbina is not a playable character right now. According to SpendYourPrimos, Columbina will be a playable character in the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, there’s no official proof of that claim.
Who Is Columbina?
Here’s some background on Columbina for those of you who are new to Genshin Impact.
First, the name “Columbina” is rich in Italian culture. It’s derived from a type of Italian theater called commedia dell’arte and translates to “Little Dove.” Every member is given a code name, and Columbina’s is “Damselette.”
Regarding her position, Columbina is the Third of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, who are all higher-ups under the Tsaritsa. They use Delusions, mysterious man-made items that give tremendous power to its users. Although third in ranking, it’s implied that Columbina is one of the strongest Harbingers.
We don’t know much about this mysterious Harbinger member. You can hear her calm, eerie vocals in the background of the Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser as she mourns the death of La Signora.
Did I mention Columbina smiles as she sings and caresses the coffin of her deceased ally? Something’s definitely off about this girl. And it seems Childe would agree with me! His opinion on Damselette’s power is chilling. These are his exact words from the game:
“The Fatui Harbingers are ranked by strength, and I have no idea why that girl is No. 3. I’d test my skills with every Harbinger who ranks above me if I had the chance, but when it comes to her… something just doesn’t feel right. Anyway, you should be careful around her.”
In short, you better watch your back when you meet Columbina. Don’t let her harmless appearance fool you!
